Biography

Olivia Ma’Cor is an American singer, composer, and general musician. She has a versatile voice, both in range and style.

Classically-trained, she has experience singing jazz, blues, soul, musical theater, singer/songwriter, folk, pop, rock, and more.

Olivia’s audience has described her voice as clear, sultry, soulful, big and powerful, yet tender and able to communicate great feeling, with sensitive and nuanced interpretations as well as great vocal control.

In addition to performing her own compositions, which have an air of melancholic folk and a strong story-telling voice that she imbues with thoughtful, emotional intimacy and eclectic sounds, Olivia often performs covers of artists from a wide variety of genres and eras. Her motto: “From Ella to Adele, Carole King to Queen, Bowie to The Beatles, Standards, Singles, and Symphonies … I sing your song.”

Olivia studied vocal performance and flute performance at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland, OH, USA. She sang two seasons with the Cleveland Orchestra Blossom Festival Summer Chorus as well as with countless other choirs, has been the vocalist for multiple big bands, as well as the soloist for several orchestral and wind ensemble features, and performed in multiple musicals. Currently, Olivia is developing her career as a solo artist singing personal compositions and covers, performing at public and private events. She is also a member of the Chor der Statistik in Berlin as organized by Bernadette La Hengst.
