Compositions

I compose music that varies in instrumentation and style, yet that is unified in its strong story-telling and often melancholic voice. I prefer to write for symphonic / acoustic instruments, drawing on my many years of experience playing flute in wind ensembles and orchestras. From intimate ballads with piano accompaniment, to dramatic laments with a mixture of strings and winds, to jazz-inspired big band showcases, for solo voice, duet, choirs, or purely instrumental, I write the music as it comes to me.

My dream is to have my own band / ensemble. However, as I have not yet found my fellow musicians, I create my works using a combination of MuseScore, Ableton and Komplete / Kontakt.
